Russell Braddock
The Kiwi mountaineering community was hit this week of the sad news Russell Braddock, a well known and respected mountain guide, was killed in an avalanche in France.
Russell came from Taranaki, and learnt his mountain skills as a member of the TAC in the late ‘70’s and early 80’s. Originally trained as an accountant, he decided to “Live the Dream” and pursue a career in mountain guiding, to the envy of many of us who knew him.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to those he left behind.
